Quaint Transylvanian Houses

I’ve already mentioned my love for the traditional Transylvanian villages, houses and big gates. Here are some of those typical Saxon-style houses. Hope you enjoy!

  1. The roof lines of these houses are quite unique, and all are beautiful! You do indeed have a different perspective of Romania and are enjoying the rediscovery. I have never visited your part of the world and will learn a lot by reading your blog!

Thanks a lot for liking and following mine.

    • Thanks so much Marilyn! You’re very sweet. There is definitely so much to see an do in Romania, I can only try to do it justice. Driving through the Transylvanian villages is such a pleasure. I hope to see more of your photos also 🙂

  2. Lexi’s mom here. Just looking at the houses, Crit appears to be more prosperous than Viscri. I would love to see the interiors. I also noticed lots of crosses and cross cut-outs on the houses. Vampire protection, LOL?
Thanks for visiting our blog, glad it led me to yours!

  3. Hello & thanks for subscribing to my blog. Also, nice posts you have here. Just wanted to tell you this, and since you do not have a contact e-mail in the About section (as far as I was able too see). One last thought. Starting summer 2016, there are many projects here in Oradea that will be completed, significantly changing – in good – the face of the city and the infrastructure. So, maybe we will be able to also read an Oradea focused article this year? 😉 :). Thanks and God bless!

    • Hi! Thanks for your visit and comments. Unfortunately, I haven’t been to Oradea yet but I’m hoping to visit soon. I’ve heard good things about the city and these projects you mention sound great. Thanks and good luck!
